It's Official!

Ok, I know it's been too long since our last post, but things have been getting pretty busy around here especially with football season kicking up. For those of you that did catch the name on the stocking in the previous post, congratulations, there was a hint in there and we are going to name her Abigail Allison Lewis. Now that she has a name it's become even more real. We are really excited about the name and everyone seems to really like it which is nice to hear.

Last weekend we took our winnings from the Hermes Sales Dinner and went down to the plaza to see what we could find. We came away with plenty of stuff, for Abigail, we picked up a nice outfit at Baby Gap that we plan on taking her home in. It's a white sleeper sack complete with hood and bear ears, the sleeves fold over into gloves for that frigid January day that she is sure to come home on and the sack buttons into legs for the car ride home. We are pretty excited about the findings. Also, we ventured over to Pottery Barn Kids and found a nice diaper bag, the one we had registered for got poor reviews online and we couldn't pass this one up so we deleted the one he had registered for. While at Pottery Barn Kids there was line of kids around the block, they were releasing Star Wars bedding and there were two guys dressed up as a Jedi and a pilot of a Tie Fighter, it was pretty chaotic.

While I was at the Chiefs game watching them be the suckiest sucks that ever sucked, Allison was home cleaning out the nursery closet so I had stuff to carry to the basement when I got home, the nursery is much further along and will gain even more progress this weekend. After the Chiefs game we celebrated Uncle Kevin's 32nd birthday with the family. It was a good time had by all and we had quite the silent critic. While singing Happy Birthday we left Brynn speechless, by the time we were done her mouth was as wide open as the grand canyon and she had the most appalled look you have ever seen, we didn't need words to know how we performed.

Tomorrow after work I head to Topeka for my...wait for it...10 year high school reunion. I'm not sure what to expect and I hardly talk to anyone from my class anymore, so it will be interesting to see everyone. On, Saturday, the Man Shower begins, we are having friends in from out of town and we have a bright and early tee time set up for Heritage Park, many of the guys it's been a while since we had a chance to hang out and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. After golf, it's off to a sports bar for some college football, then back to the house for poker and Xbox 360, it should be a fun day. We tried to have the most unique baby shower you can think of, hopefully I succeeded and it's a good time had by all.

Back by popular demand is the Allison pregnancy photos. Yesterday we took some pictures so everyone can see how far along she looks. Next week, we head to our next doctors appointment and I always look forward to that. Hope everyone is doing well and we hope to hear from you.

Week 24

Rocco is getting easier to hold, now that he has the
beginnings of a ledge to sit on.

Hi Guys,
Glad to hear things are coming along so well. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. I can't wait to hear how this "man shower" turns out...are they bringing gifts because I'm interested in seeing what you get from golf to poker as the entertainment. Allison, you're looking wonderful and I'm sure the dogs are really appreciating the extra heat you're generating.

Allison it was so good to be able to spend some time with you on Saturday you have the "Mom to be" glow. I can't wait to hear how the "man shower" went.
