Another Busy Week

Whoops...I have been a little behind on this weeks update. This was another busy week for Miss Abigail. Tuesday we went and visited Amy, Rory and Jonas. Apparently they had a blast and got along very well. Thank you Amy for watching her. Just think Amy, Abigail would be excited to visit you on a regular basis, all you need is that mini-van. Kiley plays soccer, doesn't every soccer mom need a mini-van?

We also got to meet Justin Turner (our friend who lives in Minnesota). He was just getting in some practice holding a baby. We can't wait to meet little baby Turner!

This week we were also able to find Abigail babysitter and lucky for us she only lives one street over. Abigail is super excited to hang out with other kids and seems to really like the sitter.

On Saturday Kyle and I went out and had our first adult dinner since Abigail's arrival. It was the first time that we were both able to eat a hot meal and the same time. While we were out, Abigail stayed with Kevin, Brooke and Brynn. She had a great time and got to try out some toys that we don't have at home. Brynn was a great help and was always looking out for Abigail making sure she recieved her milk in a timely manner and also making sure that she always had her pacifier in her mouth. A big thanks to Kevin and Brooke for watching her.

Slow and Easy

Well, we having been taking it easy lately. I have been bouncing back and forth between home and the office this week. I have been trying to get accounts ready and up to date for when I return back to work next month. Therefore, Abigail has been traveling to the office with me and getting acquainted with the people there. Of course she is a show stopper and I am not sure how much work anyone gets done when she shows up. Most of the time she hangs out with Teresa and Kasey who enjoy the company of the little one.

This week we had a baby shower at Hermes for those of us expecting or have had a child recently (that total is now up to I believe 8)!! We had a great time and were able to see some other babies, once we finally woke up.

We also had a doctor's appt this week. We are growing like a weed and we are super healthy. At the doctor's office we had to get a shot and we discovered that we are not fond of shots. Hopefully the next set of shots next month will go better.



Kyle is becoming good at muli-tasking. For instance, playing video games while holding Abigail.

We're a Rollin'

Well tonight she did it. Tonight, while Abigail was doing tummy time with Kyle, she rolled from her belly to her back. We knew it was only a matter of time. She has been getting pretty close but she was having trouble rolling over her shoulder, but today she made it all the way.

This week has been pretty busy for Abigail. On Tuesday we made a trip to Topeka and visited Aunt Brooke's family. Our condolences to her family on the passing of Grandpa Joe. We did however, get to spend some quality time with Cousin Brynn who just adores Abigail and can even say her name. Then Thursday we went to see Kyle at work, they were throwing a baby shower for all of the new and soon to be parents in his office. Thanks to TMP for all of the goodies. After visiting Kyle's work, we made a trip over to Hermes to get a couple of things situated and got to meet everyone at the office. And finally today, we went to lunch with Teresa and Kasey (my co-workers) and then made another trip to the office. Before long Abigail will be selling landscapes with the amount of time she is spending in the office.


Overall it has been a pretty busy week so we plan on having a relaxed weekend, especially with this great weather.

1st week of February

So, I finally have sometime to get to posting. Abigail seems to know when I am on the computer and normally wakes up and wants fed at that time. Right now she is sleeping so I am jumping at the chance to make a post. We just had our first road trip to Topeka this morning. We went to see both sets of Grandparents and then we went to dinner with our Great Grandma Maxine.


Abigail and Rocco had a rough day so they decided to snuggle.
